Description This is a request from ! He wanted the scene from the fanfic he's currently writing where Harold's dad comforts him after Harold has a nightmare about the events that happened in his previous fanfic, A Dysfunctional Summer.

I hope you like it Im-On-A-Roll! Thanks again for being patient for me to finish it!

Hey Arnold belongs to Craig Bartlett and Nickelodeon, the idea belongs to .

Poor Harold! I want to give him a hug too. Thankfully he has such a great dad. I also love all the baseball stuff in Harold's room.

Yeah, Harold definitely has a great dad. Haha he might be brutally honest (like telling Harold he's overweight ), but Harold is lucky to have such a wonderful parent.
Yeah I didn't realize how much baseball stuff was in Harold's room till I had to draw it. It's why I made him Mickey Kaline in my Halloween pic--he apparently REALLY loves baseball.

It's awesome, as always. Though I'm not sure when I'll be able to work on the actual story. THis may be my busiest school semester yet. But well done anyway.

Thank you very much! I'm really glad you love it!

Well school always has to come first, but your ideas will still be waiting for you whenever you do get a chance to write it. Let me know when you post the sequel, though, I'd love to read it!

Yeah, poor Harold went through a lot in that story, so it is good his dad is there to comfort him.

Yeah. It is good he has his dad. Even though he's 13, he's still a kid and it's nice to know your parent is there, especially after all the traumatic things Harold had to go through in that story.

Just because Harold's 13 doesn't mean he doesn't need his dad. I enjoyed the story because while Harold is usually portrayed as a crybaby, there was a lot of real emotion in that fic.

That's very true. I think we need our parents no matter what age we are, we just need them in different ways. I agree, I enjoyed seeing Harold show real emotion in that story since we usually only get to see his crybaby "but I was hungry!" or "I did it!" kind of emotions.

I wish they'd explored that side of him in the show a little more. I think he was mainly trotted out for comedy now and then, but I like depth in my characters and always have, even when I was a kid.

It's possible they would have shown it if Hey Arnold had gotten a season 6, but I agree it would have been nice if they'd explored it in the episodes we did have.

I totally agree--what usually draws me into a series is characters who have depth. I was like that as a kid too, which is part of why Hey Arnold has always been my favorite cartoon.

They seemed like more than just cartoons, which is why I also enjoyed it.
