After weeks of being isolated in her room, Lexi’s parents decided to take her to Jackson and see if he could help her with her condition. Once in Jackson’s office he had her sit down on a small stool. She quietly watched as he got a stool for himself, when getting one he placed it in front of her and sat down across from her. He clears his throat “I heard from your parents that you aren’t feeling well. Want to talk about it?” His hands moving in a polite gesture. Lexi only continued to sit without a response.

“Well, you don’t have to talk right away. I can wait till you're ready Lexi.”

Together they sat in silence as Lexi complicated what to do in her head. ‘Should I really tell him? No, I shouldn’t say anything because he doesn't care about me. I’m a freak…’ She thinks to herself. Then the voices in her head started to yell at her ‘That’s right you’re a freak! A weirdo no one wants to be around! You should have never been born! Do everyone a favor and just end yourself, when you're gone others can be relieved to not see your freakshow face anymore!’

Tears started to form in her eyes and light hiccupping started to come from her. Jackson took notice getting up from his seat and rubbing her back to comfort her along with handing her a tissue to wipe her eyes and nose. “It’s okay, it’s okay.” Lexi shakes her head “No… It’s not okay…”

“Why isn’t it okay?” Jackson asks concerned.

“I’m nothing but a freak! No one cares about me! I should just end myself then I won’t be a burden to others! They told me so…”

Now hearing the answer from Lexi Jackson gently pulls her into a hug “You are not a burden to anyone Lexi nor a freak. You are a beautiful young lady who’s important just like everyone else.”

Lexi hiccups wiping her eyes “Really?”

Jackson let’s go of her “Yeah. Now who are the kwillians that are telling you these things? You won’t get in trouble, but I’ll let know Maxwell so that he can talk with them about telling others to end themselves is wrong.” Sitting back down on the stool in front of her. Lexi clenches the tissue “It’s the voices in my head… They are the ones telling me in the voice of a kwilling I met when I was younger. She never told me to end myself, but I can’t help but hear it in her voice sometimes…”

“Ah, I see. Did you have a bad encounter with this kwilling when you were younger?”

Lexi nods “Yes, I had a panic attack once when I saw her as the voices yelled in my head. What should I do?”

Jackson crosses his legs “Well, I can start with giving you some medicine for the voices you’re hearing. If it doesn’t work, you can come back and see me. We can work on it with therapy.” Putting a hand to his chin he thinks for a moment “Do you still have panic attacks?” The pink kwillian nods “Yes… when the voices come sometimes.”

“Okay, well I read that if you focus on breathing you should be able to calm yourself down. But if they continue to get worse, maybe I can talk with my sister.”

“Your sister?”

“Yeah, Mildred down at the pet emporium. Sometimes having a pet can help prevent panic attacks, she may be a bit cold to others but I’m sure she’ll pick out a good pet for you if it comes to that degree.”

Lexi sniffs blowing her nose when looking back at him a small smile was on her face “Thank you mister Jackson.”

Jackson gives a smile back “You’re welcome, Lexi. Please call me Jackson.” He gets up from his seat again going over to a cabinet taking out a small bottle. Going back over to Lexi he gives it to her “Here these will help you, take at least one day for this week, once you’re out you can come see me to refill only if you’re still hearing voices okay.”

Nodding Lexi takes a hold of the bottle “Yes, thank you Jackson.”

Now done she gets up and walks back to her parents telling them what Jackson said. Showing the bottle in her hands.

Welp Lexi is finally getting the help she needs. Though this is just the first step in the direction. Btw this is going to probably be my last piece of kwillian art until Next month.
