These three are my favorite characters in Yugioh GX... too bad the english dub sounded ridiculous *sigh*. Anyway, this was actually a picture in my mind from a fanfic of how the three got together in Duel Island, but I never finished it. This was supposed to be a picture they took during Ryo and Fubuki's first year in Duel Academy and a young Asuka coming over to visit them, thus wearing a casual outfit instead of her uniform... and looking a bit out of character, heh.This was supposed to be entitled, "Futari no Niisan" but since I'm not fluent in Japanese, and am therefore not sure I got it right, I didn't want to make an ass of myself, heh.
Is it just me or does the english dubbed version of this show really... sucked? Seriously. Listening to poor Manjoume sounding like a freaky perv sometimes (ep 47) even though he's not really irks me.

I've tried looking everywhere for this show in the original Japanese, because I'd like to see an uncensored version (and as you say, the dub sucks). I had thinking about giving up and just resigned myself to watching in English, but I thought I'd ask...do you know where I can watch all 180 episodes in Japanese?

I call them the Obelisk Blue Trio!! Those three are so cute. Can't help but love them. I have watched the dubbed and the english subbed. Both are awesome.

But I must agree with your point. Chazz/Manjoume does indeed sound like a pervert in multiple dubbed episodes. In fact, his "poem" from episode 93 or 94 in the dub... there are some pretty akward connotations on some of his lines... yeah...

I think that's a very sweet pic, and I've interpreted the Zane/Alexis relationship as more sibling than romantic. Zane seemed to take on the role of older brother/protecter after Atticus disappeared, after all. And yes, I watched the dub and liked it.

I actually don't mind the dub, but only because I watched GX and the original Yu-Gi-Oh dub first, and then sub. 5D's I watched sub first, mainly because I was too impatient to wait for the dub, but I gotta say - to me, it's really all a matter of which one you see first.

i like the dub. to me, jaden's voice sounds a bit girly in the sub version. but i do like some of the sub names better than the dub versions

That makes a lot of sense. Ryo is the serious elder brother, Fubuki is the goofy younger brother and Asuka is the baby sister they dot on. In their own way of course. Very cute

eh? you mean, like the regular white-stripe blue uniform? I don't have info about whether only third years wear the blue-stripped white uniform or not, but in the third season, Sho is wearing the white-stripe blue uniform (since he was promoted to Obelisk Blue). The third season marks their third and final year in the school and so far none of them, except for a promoted Sho, changed their outfits.
So, I figured that Fubuki and Ryo just started the trend (and I intend to write about that in my fanfic should I even finish it n.n;; )

The only place I saw a subbed version was in YouTube. I wish I downloaded those episodes when they came out as raw. The last subbed version I saw was episode, erm, 3?
