Isn't it a bit weird how trainers stay in the same place, if you beat them or if you don't?

Maybe what a collection of trainers really is is a homeless camp and they just live along stretches of road where its easiest to battle and/or beg.

Yeah, it'd probably make a lot more sense and be more fun if everyone else in the game traveled through the map. The hero can't seriously be the only trainer with things to do and places to be.

then crashed into a preschooler that wanted to battle
and i was all like:

It would be cool if the trainers changed everyday. It would be a lot more interesting. The next pokemon game should do that.
