Description This picture isn't by me; but since I'm the subject of the picture, I see no problem in hosting it here. This is a pic of my Kai Hiwatari (Beyblade) cosplay for Otakuthon 2009. For the hair, we bought a FF Versus XIII wig off ebay, and then I used a blue sharpie on the back. I tested a few colours to see if it was the right one first. . . the regular blue sharpie ended up perfect for the hair.

Uhm, for the triangles, we used a paint sharpie? IT IS MADE OF PAINT. I'm sorry, I don't really remember... But, it wasn't regular make-up.

For the material, we usually just go to the nearest fabric store and find the cheapest material that's the right colour. We can't really afford to buy the right textures, so it's really just ... normal cheap fabric. For everything! (I say we, because my gf made the costume.)

For the "dranzer" on the belt, it was cardboard and metallic duct tape.

Basically it's all really... cheap!! /POOR STARVING STUDENTS

Unfortunately it doesn't on the scarf. Because of that we just use a long strip of white material so it hurts less when we have to throw it out later. :< Though maybe if you try bleaching it right after wear it might work; most of it went off in the wash. (Not enough for re-wear, but still.)

I haven't tried washing the wig, but as far as I can tell it won't wash off.
