See, I always thought this Pokemon was poorly named. It should be called "The Most Bad-Ass Bird Ever Created That Totally Beats The Ever-Loving Snot Out Of Your Face And Body".

He was cool, I would have to say. But Steel types were never a hit in my party. It was mostly water, fire, electric, flying (how else were you to get around?), and possibly a dark.

Well, Lucario is my all-time favorite, but not for any of its in-game merits. I never seriously played the games. Just played through them like one-player RPG's.
Skarmory is extremely popular among serious tournament players, however - it's one of the best Pokemon in the game for certain team dynamics. Not irreplaceable, but really, really good.
