Description
After defeating numerous heroes, a corrupt demi-goddess is herself defeated by a legendary mirror shield capable of reflecting both light and magic by a hero desperately searching for three sacred keys to avert a catastrophe. The shield was one, and, oddly enough, the second is the now subservient demi-goddess herself.Years before, the young hero had an oracle friend who dreamed he would be accompanied by a beautiful young woman of great power. Apparently, this fate was a destined one...

The Demi-Goddess had a bit of an ego problem after knowing the extent of her power compared to mortals and defeating them easily with just a simple gaze.
At the same time, she underestimated humanity and thought "there was NO WAY someone would find the one item artifact that could defeat me, especially when it's stored in some monster-infested location."
Lo and behold, she is proven wrong, and if she resorted to her dangerous spells first, the rebound from the shield could have KILLED her instead.
