Watercolors are actually really easy. o_o It's the damned colored pencil for the skin that I seem to have trouble with...
But there aren't any decent watercolor sets to use if I finish up with this set, besides kiddo ones in bizzare colors and adult ones that are really thick and intended fo' canvases. Up yo nose with a rubba hose, skin tone! >: M

And I know T_T; Thanks for sayin' it, though! : D I'm tinkerin' around and trying to find new ways to deal with it- I don't want to use pen though- it just doesn't seem natural fo' me.
Anyway, I'm planning on going to Michael's soon to see if they have skin toned watercolors..But I still haven't gone there yet! : O

But anyhow, your cell shading looks good- I suppose you just need some direction as to where to put the shading/highlight, but I didn't even notice that very much. : o

I haven't been 'cause the nearest Michael's is too far away (but there was one close to where I was going to school, my school consilour took me before). There's a nice little art store downtown, but I can't afford art supplies right now so I guess it's just cheaper to CG

well if i had to give a suggestion then it would be better maybe if the picture were cleaner before you started coloring, it looks like you shaded with pencil, but if you could just keep it unshaded then you could color the skin, right?
