Mr. Tickle looked up to the clock…it read around 3:30 pm. He sighed as he tried fixing his simple, blue bowtie. He and this one dark blue Miss were planning to go out. Nothing much, just a simple afternoon date. Finally he got the tie on just right. Now he knew he didn’t have to get all dolled up…but he wanted to look at least nice for his first date he ever had in his life.

*DING-DONG*

She was here…

The orange Mr. Man took a deep breath and walked quickly to the door. There she stood, Miss Giggles. She was in a simple light green one piece dress and held a small orange purse in her hands. She had yellow earrings and wore some simple lipstick. She looked very pretty was all Mr. Tickle could think…but could he say it?

“Hey…” the miss was the first to talk, giving a small giggle at the end. Mr. Tickle was caught out of his trance and shook his head to clear up any clouds in his mind. “Oh hey…you just look really, really pretty….” Mr. Tickle sighed out, feeling his face turn red.

Miss Giggles gave out one of her good laughs as she took his hand. Both were ready to head out. They decided for a first date to go to some fancy restaurant, the Magic Hat café to be exact. It wasn’t a long walk at all from Mr. Tickle’s house to the place.

Soon both were seated and looking over the simple, small menu. Both struggled on what to choose, and Mr. Tickle couldn’t help but look up to see Miss Giggles. She just looked so cute…and her laugh was perfect… Heck he was Mr. TICKLE after all…he wanted to make people laugh…

Speaking of which he wanted to make his date laugh…she looked so sad when she wasn’t laughing… So the Mr. Man stretched one of his arms around the table, ready to hear her laugh.

“Hey Giggles…” Mr. Tickle said. The little miss looked up, confused. “I think somebody needs a tickle!” he warned before hitting the Miss with his ticklish hand on her back.

“NO! MR. TICKLE! HAHAHAHA!!! COME ON NOW! HAHAHAHA!” and there it was that laugh he grew to love. Sadly it was shortly lived because Miss Giggles threw one of her arms up; hitting a certain tall, green Mister. Thus causing the pitcher of water to fly right into his face, drenching him.

“Oh no! Mr. Persnickety! We’re so sorry!” Mr. Tickle called once he saw what had happened. He quickly stopped tickling and ran to the side of the other Mr. Man. Everyone was busy looking at what just happened, some glaring while others tried to hold back chuckles.

Miss Giggles finally calmed down and caught her breath. “Oh sorry about that Mr. Persnickety. It was just that Mr. Tickle…tickled me..and HAHAHA!” she once again broke into laughter rethinking everything over.

Mr. Persnickety finally got to his feet…and something could tell you he was NOT happy about this….at all…. “Err..yes Miss Giggles…I know you had no control over what happened…maybe if a certain tickling menace didn’t cause so much trouble?” he said as he glared to Mr. Tickle.

“I said I was sorry….” Mr. Tickle repeated, gulping. “Sigh..Mr. Tickle you must know when it’s okay to tickle! I mean really tickling in such an important restaurant? Can’t you be any less classy?” Mr. Persnickety stated.

“Hey! Back off from him… He didn’t mean any harm…and he said he was sorry! He is Mr. TICKLE after all…and we all love him for it!” Miss Giggles said, getting right between the two Mr. Men. “If anything Mr. Persnickety you might want to work on letting up…you can be so uptight at times! Not everyone can be perfect as you want them to. Sigh…sorry everyone and sorry Miss Magic…we should probably leave… Come on Mr. Tickle…”

Mr. Tickle didn’t even say anything as the dark blue Miss pulled his arm, and both headed outside. Practically everyone there was speechless; no one ever saw Miss Giggles stand up to anyone like that before. Once far from the café Miss Giggles turned back to Mr. Tickle, whose jaw was still opened. “Sorry about that…I just HATE it when Mr. Persnickety picks on others for what they do…I mean he needs to learn that not everyone is like him…” Miss Giggles explained. Mr. Tickle finally closed his mouth. “What? Miss Giggles don’t be sorry! I should be…I mean I caused the whole mess…but thank you for standing up for me…I never had anyone do that for me…” Mr. Tickle said, as he blushed.

Then he made a daring move…

He quickly smooched her on the cheek. Miss Giggles was caught off guard with this and blushed deeply then went into a giggle fit. “Oh Mr. Tickle you’re so sweet!” she laughed out.

Hearing sweet gave the orange mister an idea. “Hey Mr. Scatterbrain’s ice cream parlor isn’t far from here….you want to get some ice cream?” he asked.

“SURE! I would love to. Ice cream is my favorite treat. What’s you favorite flavor?” the little miss asked as she took the mister’s hand. “Chocolate!” “Mine to!”

So here is some art asked for, wanting to see Miss Giggles and Mr. Tickle on a date. Had a feeling something like this would go down. I could see these two being together as well. They would seem cute; Mr. Tickle could make her really happy with her laughing (which we all know she loves to do).
