Okay guys, I have decided to UPDATE my Mr. Men and Little Misses art, with using Gimp (which I really love with how clean I can get the coloring) Moving on I spent almost all night working on this, since it was tricky coloring in 5 characters…but I also wanted to continue with the characters that never made it to the reboot by drawing them in my style along with giving them background as if they were.
Anyways going from right to left we have….
Little Miss Lucky- She made it to the show, but only as a square in the intro. It was said she would have looked along the lines of a recolored Miss Helpful. She was changed from a pink to a bright green (lucky color). In all she is a kind Miss who you would want to have on your side. She is a walking good luck charm, with good intentions for all. She has a collection of pennies, a garden of four leaf clovers, and a horseshoe above every door. She gets along well with the others (though some find her too lucky at times). Her catchphrase is, “Must be my lucky day!”
Mr. Mean- He actually did appear in the episodes boats in a life raft. He’s kind of a tough guy to deal with, can be rude, pushy, and a bully to others. He also seems too really like to pick on Mr. Grumpy (since they had a rivalry in high school) He likes to ruin your day by making you feel bad. He holds grudges that were from YEARS ago, and tends to be a loner. He lives up on a hill, away from everyone else in DillyDale, but can be seen around DillyDale a lot. He does like to take long walks in the woods though. His catchphrase is, “Back off before you see my true MEAN self…”
Mr. Daydream- He too appeared as a square in the intro, but never made it into the show. He came back to DillyDale after dropping out of College. He tends to let things come to him instead of doing things to get what he wants. He’s best friends with Mr. Messy and Mr. Lazy. He kind of goes off in his mind if he is really bored, and sometimes a thought bubble can appear, showing what he is thinking to others…so he tries his best to NOT let that happen… He tries to stay away from Miss Scary (since her scares can give him nightmares) and Mr. Rude… In all he can be a swell guy to hang around with. His catchphrase is, “What was that? I was busy daydreaming….”
Little Miss Strong- She did appear in a music video, but she looked more like Mr. Strong cross-dressing…(got something you want to tell us there Mr. Strong? No? Okay.) So I went off of Mr. Strong’s old design of him being square. She is a friendly woman, who has better control over her strength compared to her little brother (she is older by 2 years). She is in a loving relationship with Miss Tiny and is very protective over her. She tends to try and prove how strong she is in front of others and can boast sometimes… Moving on she and her little brother have a very tight bond, and she loves goofing off with him. If angered though she can lose control of her strength easily… Her catchphrase is, “I can basically do anything you can do…maybe even better!”
Little Miss Tiny- She was planned for the show, but was never finalized. Anyways she is smaller compared to everyone in DillyDale (including Mr. Small) She doesn’t talk much, and tends to be by Miss Strong’s side 24/7. She basically met the miss when they were little kids, and grew up together, forming a loving friendship which later blossomed into love. She tends to stay in the background, and lets Miss Strong do everything for her when they’re out. The two live together (like Mr. Nosy and Mr. Small). One thing Miss Tiny is great at is swimming. Her catchphrase is, “Don’t mind me…”
So there you have it guys, a redo or more so update of the characters. I am very pleased with how this turned out in the end. Hope you guys enjoy, and if you have any questions feel free to ask, I love talking with you guys.
