Description Day 1    Day 2    Day 3    Day 4    Day 5    Day 6    Day 7    Day 8    Day 9

A follow up to yesterday's pic . Since I want to make games for this group, I figured I should start practicing adding features in isolation like this one.
I'll polish this later. I devoted too much time into this silly Psyduck animation |D

INSTRUCTIONS: Move the cursor around to move the Psyduck.

This is also my first frame by frame animation, kinda. I'm practicing for a certain AMV project.

Now, onto a more serious topic. My tablet has become really annoying for some reason.
What's she doing? The pressure is not working properly (I have to tweak it constantly) and the buttons of the stylus (vital to my workflow) are not working.
What I've tried? Resetting and tweaking pen sensitivity from Wacom GUI and CSP GUI, changing the nib, changing the tablet to another USB port, restarting the Wacom service, using an older Wacom driver, reinstalling latest Wacom drivers automatically and manually, updating Adobe AIR.
Other info: Wacom Bamboo Create on Windows 7 SP1

I can't paint like this. If you had this issue and/or know how to solve it, please let me know! My research is not throwing any useful results :c

EDIT April 26, 2018: I THINK I SOLVED IT.

Today the pen stopped working altogether. No pen input, no buttons, nothing. So I called Wacom's support and they instructed me on how to uninstall/reinstall the driver. That made the pen work again (still weird pen pressure and no buttons). I uninstalled a program I got the day before this issue started. That might have been conflicting with the driver, although the program is not Wacom related. Then I updated Adobe AIR for some reason and the pen pressure issue was fixed (go figure). But still no buttons so I called Wacom again. They instructed me to manually uninstall the driver files, which I didn't really need to it seems. But apparently having Windows Firewall up and any antivirus can mess the installation process. So I deactivated both of those prior to the installation and it seemed to do the trick!! Now after restarting the PC for the 15971251 time, the pen is now working like it has always done. So at the end it was a SOFTWARE ISSUE. Also don't drop the pen. Ever! I have dropped it a couple of times on a hard floor but don't take that risk. And try not to spill liquids on the tablet surface! I did that a couple of times, too. How this tablet managed to survive my carelessness is beyond comprehension lol The takeout point is treat your tablet like your child XD

have you tried with a different browser? I'm on Chrome.

also, I think you might need the flash player component.

tablets always fail when you have something important to do

if you have windows, its possible windows ink is messing with you. here's a fix for that , but you also have to go into your tablet settings and disable windows ink there too.

Luckily, I don't have windows ink. My tablet and windows are a bit old heh

Yes I have been having this issue as well. Try this: forums.adobe.com/thread/247707… Please tell me if this helps! If not, it may be the pen. If you are running Windows, try turning off Windows Ink.

Also it's a very cute animation.

heh thanks!

Ah, but my Wacom interface doesn't look like that at all. I should've specified this but I'm using a Wacom Bamboo Create with the latest driver on Windows 7, which doesn't automatically update as far as I'm concerned. The strange thing is that my pen was working just fine until a few days ago. I haven't drop it recently or anything. I doubt it's the tablet surface since it's relatively clean. I dunno what else to do honestly T-T

Oh I see. You've replaced the nib and everything. Maybe the wires.. can't be the driver. My bamboo broke many years ago. Good luck. I wish I could help more.

PSYAYAYAYAYAYAY! If a Psyduck ever used Fire Punch, it would forget why its hand was on fire and freak out.

Sucks your tablet's not working, not sure what the problem might be. Have you checked if its the tablet itself or your computer? I'm kinda going on hunches here(don't even know if it's a tablet connected to a computer, but most drawing tablets I know of are) but it may be that something's bugging out on the other end instead. It could also be the pen, so if you have a spare or are able to obtain/borrow another one that could be good to test what's wrong. I'm no tech expert, unfortunately, nor do I have much experience with drawing tablets, but I would hope that it's not a permanent issue that would make you have to replace the whole thing.

hehehe

Yeah, I dunno honestly. It has always worked fine until very recently. Some days it doesn't do it, some days it fixes it after a while, and some days it's just impossible to draw. That's what led me to think it was the drivers. But it isn't the case, apparently. And I doubt it's the program I'm using to draw (CSP) because I tried on Photoshop as well. So it's either the pen or the tablet, I believe. But I don't have the monies to replace them sadly   ; . ;

I see. Any way to possibly get them repaired? My guess would be that it might cost more, depending on who you ask, but it's possible that it could be cheaper to at least get it professionally looked at.

There are no spare parts for technicians to repair it thanks to my country's policies u.u

Oh, I see. Bummer then, I don't know what else you'd be able to do besides replacing. Sorry I can't help more.
