Another blast from my sketchbook's past.
This is a friend's old D&D character, from the same adventuring party Tundrok [link] was in.
Cyric (the self-proclaimed "Suave Pirate" and party leader) was probably one of the most bad ass characters ever, and actually really pushed some of the archetype-breaking characters 3E made possible. Why would I say that? Look at the guy, he looks like a rogue, or a high dex fighter or swashbuckler, maybe even an urban ranger.

Hell no, this muthafucka was the party's wizard.

We started these characters at a really low level, so, when Cyric ran out of magic missiles, he wouldn't sweat it, he'd just bust out his hand cannons and keep blasting. And when he was done slinging spells and throwing lead, he'd steal a ship, go to your house, make out with your mom, and steal the ring your grandma hid during the Holocaust. A truly lovable, spell-shooting, gun-slinging scoundrel.
