This sculpture was made around October 14, 2012. Time is a major factor in life. It seems like such a pointless idea to count and slice our days into sections but without it there would be confusion. Time is a very mechanical thing. It's something worldwide yet sometimes it goes very quickly or very shortly. As we think back to past events time back then seems to have gone in slow motion. Time is distorted from our minds and emotions. This pocket watch was made to represent the importance and confusion of time. The gears on it are to show time's mechanical aspect. The blue and yellow picture below the gears were made to represent the emotional aspects of life and how people shape it with their minds.
