That's super sweet of you to make something for your friend! I know they appreciated it. Plus who doesn't love Marceline and Princess Bubblegum?

And I really love the background. It's like stars are out of focus, which is good, because you want the girls to be your main focus. You also made an interesting choice that worked by not using black outlines and instead using white. I like your artistic choices-keep it up!

I would never draw with my track pad. LOL. I always use a USB mouse. I have an old 4 inch wacom tablet, but I need to get a new one. But if you can do it on your track pad, keep doing it. Whatever works for you as artist is what you need to do, everyone is different. People can suggest new things but it's up to you to find out what works best for you ^_^

I just bought a small Wacom Intuo tablet a few days ago~ it is my baby even though I bought a refurbished one. I used the trackpad before I had my tablet so it proved rather difficult and took way longer than it should have. Now that I have my tablet the lines are smoother and cleaner.
