I think Jeff has a better relationship to his father than to his mother because (we already know a bit about the mother and she was a total control freak) they didn't really get along in the creepypasta. And the whole "Mommy, you lied..." thing is there too.
The father didn't get much attention in it.

I think of the father to be a soft and flexible person and the mom is the dominant one in their marriage. In my mind the father is a relaxed person who lets his wife decide what goes on in their household and is only a successful and energetic person when he's at work but at home he is a daydreamer and often spaces out but also spends time with his boys and his wife.

And yes I want the dad to look like that - with slightly curly hair. Relaxed and a bit out of it.
