Shantae was released right at the end of the Game Boy Color's run. It got high scores from those "official" game reviewers, but because the Game Boy Advance had all the attention at the time, the game became an ultra-rarity. I paid $150 for just a boxless, manualless copy. In the end, I think it was worth it.

There's a copy on Ebay right now, boxed, sealed even, and the asking price is $500... Now, I'll admit that's way steeper than what's to be expected, but that does give you an idea of how rare the game is.
