A whole year ago (and before she actually posted the art) GazeRei designed Yuurei (Kanda x Rei) kiddies , and as a result we were chatting about headcanons and possibilities for interactions between Yuurei kiddies and Allira (Allen x Kira) kiddies. I didn't really have an image in my head at the time though. BUUUT recently Mojo designed some Spaniel (Hywel x Pania) kids and then Girlsquad was chatting about it on FB and coming up with their own kids for their DGM charas and ships. I got inspired with all the theorizing and sharing to finally design the Allira babs. ;v;/

From the beginning I knew Kira would want two kids if she ever gave birth, having been a lonely only child herself. Allen would have no qualms with that; if anything I think he'd be more concentrated on figuring out how a "normal" family life works in the first place, as well as how to hold two children with only one arm oops. I also always pictured them as adopting too, though? It just seemed to fit with my image of them creating a family. Before I knew it an entertaining situational flip of Allen stepping into Mana's shoes and adopting a lil mute circus boy was running around my head, and so Iv got thrown in with the biological Allira kiddies. This decision also inadvertently fixed my worry about Allen and Kira dying early due to the consequence of their Parasitic Innocence and leaving behind Marian and Dorian too young, for now Iv the only level-headed bab of the family can look after them *sparkles*

I've legit got a whole page written up on my after-War Allira headcanon, but it's overly detailed and not relevant enough to this artwork. Maybe I'll share it later, but until then, here's some notes on the kiddies instead ;v;/ I had a lot of fun speculating how being related to and being brought up by Allen and Kira would shape them, and I hope that shows!

Allen's original hair color was reddish-brown; on my comp screen Marian's hair is the correct color, but it looks too red on iPad? Both biological Allira kids have Allen's gray eyes, and I added a purple highlight since the new anime is throwing purple in. *v*

Marian Arianna Walker - age 7 in picture
when she was born she was already a very noisy and demanding baby; Allen commented that she reminded him greatly of his former master - "Look, her hair is red too! It's an omen, I tell you!" - and Kira was so amused she signed the baby's name as Marian
an observer with a keen eye, and a bit of a brat; has a huge heart though, even if her tongue's sharp
enjoys card games, especially poker after Allen taught her how to cheat win (she loses a lot against Iv regardless though, bc his purposefully intimidating stare during the game knocks her off balance)
dislikes reading and prefers visuals, likes to draw but takes after her father in it
only she's allowed to tease Dorian, all other kids who attempt to do so will be subject to her wrath (she got Kira's spitfire ire ahaha ha)
likes to ride on Allen's shoulders if his one hand is full with Dorian, has a tendency to roam around the house/outside with Dorian in tow

Dorian Mana Walker - age 3 in picture
born with Alalia (delayed speech development) like Kira was; far more well-behaved than Marian was as a baby lmao
Kira named him. "It rhymes with Marian, see?" "Erm... (Did you really decide the name just so it could rhyme..?)" "What's with the look? I mean, 'Cross' works too, if you prefer that." "KIRA NO"
when he gets older, Dorian's a polite and thoughtful bab - an emotional thinker though, and Kira wilts at the possibility he'll end up a martyr-complex like his father; Allen meanwhile is exasperated that Dorian has his mother's stubbornness and once Dorian's frustrated he's a bit of a handful like his mother
loves reading, also a green thumb (unlike his mother, which Kira is admittedly jelly over)
looks up to Iv immensely, even when he was just a baby (Kira believes it's bc Dorian enjoys all the noises Iv makes to communicate)
if he's not following Iv around, he's following Marian (Both Allen and Kira prefer he follow Iv, Marian gets a lil mischievous in her roaming around)

Iv Walker (adopted) - age 9 in picture
was sold to the circus by his poor mother at age 4; he assumed that she was selfishly selling him away for money to spend for herself. When the circus came into town Allen bonded with Iv while hanging out with the performers after performances, and he convinced the ringleader (aka beat him at a poker game) to let him adopt Iv ("You adopted?" "Sorta. Allen won him in a poker game." "He what?!")
Kira tried to rename Iv to Ivan so he'd match his new siblings (insert Allen facepalming in the bg), but Iv refused to respond to anything but "Iv"; Kira was a bit sulky about this but got over it. It took a few months for Iv to warm up to Kira too (as in not completely ignoring her), and it took a whole year before he permitted her to hug him
reserved, hard worker, possessive over material things he owns (like his hat), stand-offish when uncomfortable or uncertain
since he's mute, he has a method of communication (other than body gestures) involving whistles, hissing, and tongue clicking noises; Allen often speaks to him in Russian, since they found out that's Iv's native tongue. Iv understands English too though, as well as French.
if left to look after his siblings, he treats them similarly to how he did the beasts at the circus he used to look after; literally has them both (even Marian!!) trained to listen to him (if Allen and Kira can't find Marian and Dorian, Iv only has to put his fingers in his mouth and give an ear-splitting whistle and they come running back ASAP; he'll even pat them on the head like they're dogs lmfao)
has a bit of a uni-brow, which Marian is insistent upon plucking; Iv is not amused by this, but eventually caved to it after Marian stubbornly refused to give up and attempted more than once to pluck his eyebrows whilst he slept. It was not pleasant.
