🔹 Our self-image is often the culmination of societal views. Ads, school, television, social media, friends, family and even culture all add to how you see yourself. I met a lovely woman in University who kept staring at me, touching my hair, and telling me how beautiful I was, to the point that I was a bit uncomfortable. It turned out that in her culture heavier women with straight long hair were the epitome of beauty and she had a single brother she wanted me to meet. lol
