My illustration final. The photo quality of this is awful, I may resubmit later.Anyway, the assignment was to illustrate a song (or story) and I chose Oingo Boingo's Pictures of You:

It's just pictures of you with a knife in your hand
With a rose in your teeth lying nude in the sand

With the wind in your hair, and a smile on your lips

Blending in with the wind, sounded just like a scream

Gorgeous! I love the color palette and the hair of the characters is amazing! really captures the essence of the song IMO :3

I like the swirls in her hair for some reason, but I'm not sure why. ^_^" Some other reason I'm not sure of, it reminds me of the FMA episode "A Forger's Love" - maybe because Majhal seemed haunted by the woman with the blue roses, but in this, it looks like the guy is the victim instead of the other way around. (I guess I like the swirls either because they're kind'a strange, hinting that she is, or maybe it helps the composition in some way... Maybe something else, but I can't think of what else it could be at the moment.)
The Blue monochromatic makes it spooky and melancholy. ^_^

I've honestly never seen watercolor look as good as when you do it. Lookit that hair!!! So many different shades and... stuff... that make it look amazing.
