This is Aoi, the pretty guitarist from the Gazette
I was sort of happy with this until i started to do the hands. yes, they're terrible. Cover them with something before you actually look at it.

hair is actually the easiest part! (for me)
you sort of work from a block colour
and then add in my detail and lines and more shades of that colour
and keep working until it looks good enough...

I used photoshop cs (I ignored all the nice features used only the brush tool) and yes, it does look like miyavi because aoi and miyavi are ... so alike
