Well, it depends on who and why gets into a dungeon. If they already dress in a way like depicted here, then there is no need to "change out of clothes" since there is no need to. Of course that would make no sense for any well-equipped adventurer.

I suppose so, but it depends on what "well-equipped" means for these gaeans.

It's fine. I was just thinking that gaeans like Selian or Kyo who often dress in different ways might change when reaching the dungeon or changing before heading to the dungeon. Although Isaac probably dresses in just shorts pretty much everywhere.

You are right about Isaac and likely Selian. As for Kyo, it might depend on the situation itself and who is with him at the time.

Why would it matter who is with Kyo? If he had to go into a dungeon, wouldn't he change into those battle robes or at least, out of the normal mage robes?

That is an alternative.

The alternate robes? Of course.

Better thanjust opening the top side of the noral robes I pressume?

Aristodes In reply to Chiletrek [2019-05-11 03:17:47 +0000 UTC]
Probably, since those robes are designed for a fight. Or he could just leave the robes at the front of the dungeon and go in wearing his shorts or long pants, depending on what he uses under the robes.

Chiletrek In reply to Aristodes [2019-05-11 03:19:51 +0000 UTC]
If the dungeon in question is not that hot and/or humid, then he might keep the robes if staying out of trouble or just looking for an item or something. Otherwise he might want to change (not sure how that would work with Yleb).

Aristodes In reply to Chiletrek [2019-05-11 03:21:24 +0000 UTC]
Wouldn't Yleb just keep more clothes on? I thought it was the cubs who dress in less than the adults.

Chiletrek In reply to Aristodes [2019-05-11 03:23:45 +0000 UTC]
Not quite, I mentioned that adults tend to use more clothes as they have more social obligations, but that's it.

Aristodes In reply to Chiletrek [2019-05-11 03:25:00 +0000 UTC]
Well, that would make sense, although I don't know what kind of social obligations they'd have on an adventure. Or in a dungeon.

Then it comes when I said some would be better-prepare, like not extra clothing, ut wearing some armour and stuff.

That would suit many of the adult males. Probably not the Dha'ar.

Not sure of his exact age, but the 4 cubs are around 10... give or take.

Then there will be an adult Dha'ar again. And hopefully a lot of cubs.

I see. Would Selian have had his shirt on earlier in the dungeon? Or would he haven't used it to begin with?

That stare is creepy.
Anyway, it wouldn't be just for this drawing, but for any similar situation.

But that is how I felt about your previous question, hehehe, I really have no idea because I was not thinking in any real story for that pic.
LIke exploration of places? Yes, it is better for him to protect the shirt since it is used for social stuff and allows him to be better seen for some adults.

Wouldn't the long pants also need to be protected?

Chiletrek In reply to Aristodes [2019-05-11 04:17:59 +0000 UTC]
No as much as shirts, since pants are easier to buy.

It should because of design-wise, but it is not because of cultural-wise.

I guess shirts are rarer for the gaeans so they cost more?
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
Chiletrek In reply to Aristodes [2019-05-11 04:23:15 +0000 UTC]
Yes, since most races have natural protections against the weather, and shirts are more to look fancier and indeed adults would use those more.

Aristodes In reply to Chiletrek [2019-05-11 04:25:45 +0000 UTC]
I see. Would adult gaeans who aren't doing anything important at the moment use a shirt? Like, if they weren't at a formal event or running a business or something.

Aristodes In reply to Chiletrek [2019-05-11 04:28:09 +0000 UTC]
I guess that a lot of the gaeans don't use a shirt much at all, even if they are adults. Like if they work on a farm instead of a store.

How does the trap work, the candle burns until it reaches the ropes and burns them?

Chiletrek In reply to DJcroc2016 [2017-05-19 22:48:36 +0000 UTC]
Not exactly, once the candle burns enough to reach the ropes, then they will break and the cubs will fall down into that pit and whatever lies down there O_O .
