These are renders of the Invid aerospace mecha: The Igaarn. This is one of the many amazing Invid designs created by . Because of animation reasons, Kakinuma Hideki (the original creator of the Inbit, or Invid as known here) mentioned that of 16 designs he made, only 5 made it into the animation, leaving many voids in Invid lines of development.

The Igaarn is a larger aerospace mecha than the Iiga ( www.deviantart.com/chiletrek/a… ) and it was created for more experienced Invid pilots, either by natural growth or by a transmutation by the Regis or an Invid Hive Brain. The Igaarn stands at 3.5 meters height when walking, it possess two main plasma cannons on the main body, 2 smaller ones on the wings and two smaller ones at the forearms. But it's larger size doesn't make it any slower than the Iiga, making the Igaarn a dangerous opponent for those who dare attack an Invid Hive.

While not having the experience or command abilities of the even larger Igren, the Igaarn can still be seen escorted by several Iigas.
