thanks lilchili.. i enjoyed working on this too... and sometimes i wonder if i did better when the theme is darker , and i used darker tones. Whenever i used lighter tone or brighter art concept, it somehow kinda lacks the 'bang'...

ugh darker tone? ummm no no i think it's perfect
if u wanted to have it darker maybe just add another layer and give a dark shadow top left so the scenery behind, so that the arc is deeper and the castle looks further outside and u can maybe also add another lighting from right or bottom right, oppose of shadow, to give better effect that the OC is more in front
this way big chili create deeper dimension of the whole scene

lots of patience... LOL.. ( i usually don't have, so you will only find me drawing lots of flowers because its a commission works.. LOL.. otherwise, i wouldn't be testing my own patience with this...

ik but a viola looks very similar u would have to look at the strings violas havw a c,g,d,a strings and violins have a g,d,a,e strings very different and violas have a alto clef and violins have treble that most common

i know too but you're talking about the difference in sounds that those two instruments produce. This is visual, non-audible art. You should rather look at the size of the instrument carynne is holding, and the length of the bow. To say it briefly, violin is much smaller than a viola, and its bow much longer... just in case if you've forgotten ^^
