Que tal gente tanto tiempo, bueno si mas preámbulo les dejo esta ilustración que hice con motivo de mi nuevo fanzine que se publico hace poco, inspirado con la revolución de una de mis series favoritas Spartacus decidí hacer esta especie guerrero gladiador así medio loco, es una ilustración íntegramente digital, le hice un fondo que no es la gran cosa, es mas le falta mucho pero por ser el primero lo dejamos así, utilice el SAI es bastante mas amigable que photoshop me gusto mucho el resultado final, tengo que aprender algunas cosas mas como utilizar pinceles con textura y todo eso pero de a poco iré mejorando.Bueno espero que les guste y subir un poco mas seguido, saludos.
Hello friends this time, I am uploading this illustration I did on the occasion of my new zine was published recently, inspired by one of my favorite series Spartacus, I decided to make this kind of gladiator, this illustration is made entirely digitally, I did a fund that is not a big deal, but lacks much for being the first we leave it, use the SAI is far more friendly than photoshop I really liked the end result, I have to learn a few things like using textured brushes and whatnot but will gradually improve.

Gracias bueno la idea era que se una musculatura mas tipo comic pero no lo logre, gracias por los buenos comentarios y lo que tiene SAI es que es mas versátil y te deja mezclar colores un poco mejor lo que pasa que lo uso por que le PS se me cuelga mucho debido a mi maquina que esta un poco vetusta y lo que tiene SAI es que es muuuuuuy liviano y no nadie tiene las herramientas que tiene PS y no lo van a tener nunca

Se ve muy.... peligroso y amenazador. Asi que Sai es mejor que Potoshop??? Por que todos dicen lo mismo??? Jajaja. Yo no le agarré la mano y seguí con el otro que por lo menos conozco jaja. Pero creo que debería prestar más atención a estas indicaciones....Tal vez tenga que darle una segunda oportunidad. EL dibujo es excelente, desde las sombras hasta las luces, y ni hablar de los pliegues de la ropa!!! Bueno, ok, no soy muy profesional hablando, doy una opinión de novata jaja.

Gracias lo importante es que te haya gustado y tu criticara es muy valorada y lo que tiene SAI es que es un poco mas sencillo de usar y los pinceles se prestan mejor para lograr efectos y texturas mas fácil, la otra ventaja es que es mas liviano, en fin muchas gracias por tu comentario

You know how to pick your shows my friend and hell won't deny either the unbelievable levels of awesome that come from Spartacus, glad to hear your a fan of it. ^-^
Kudos to hearing about how SAI is treating you as opposed to Photoshop, heard good things about it. Might have to try it out at one point, and is the internet on the fact that its actually a free program to download? o0o
Regardless we're moving away from the badass gladiator you've drawn for us and wow talk about fierce and barbaric my friend, this definitely shows some really quality to it. Nice change-up from the traditional poses you see with some warriors as it seems here that you yourself are in battle with the man instead of the iconic striking pose some deviants go for. Your lines seems to have sharpened up both on the lineart side and even in the digital media it seems as your figure looks very fleshed out from the anatomy, hair and even the armor itself.
Like best of all the work on the coloring especially Chili, you seem to be quite the natural at this even though you don't have the whole program figured out, damn! Event then there's no denying the way how nicely tanned the skin looks or how bulky and bulbous the muscles stick out like they should. As well fancy work on the lighting catch around the hair. You can get some great direction of the flow of the threads to even the beard itself, nice touch!
Additionally like how the cloth and the metal change in the way they appear with some of your other colors. The cloth feels very natural how it folds so much and even neater how you seem to have moved the cloth underneath his belt with the rest of the movement of the body, smooth work lad. Lastly an extra thumbs up on the armor giving good shadowing as the left shoulder is further from the light to even the sword itself and how it gleams a bit as it hits the sun, pretty stellar work Chili. o0o
Oh and won't forget either how nicely made that background looks and feels. Has that nice perspective of the rolling and sharp mountains to even the light white clouds that make up parts of the sky, damn dude your SAI is looking to be quite remarkable indeed!

Sorry this is such a VERY late response back to you Chili but I'm catching up on the DA as fast as I can, lol.
Think your own work here already shows how much you've grown lad and even more what you continue to improve in. Even more your ability to continue to test yourself whether drawing jaw dropping ladies or badass dudes like Guerrero here clarifies that.

If you're a fan of that show, you might want to check out and see if they'll take your art. Not quite sure why, seeing has how I think that show is eyeball meltingly bad.
As for picture itself, well done piece of work. While I like the outfight design, what really sells it is the dynamic pose. He's lunging forward, ready for a fight. That places it above the static pose.

Bueno che muchas gracias estoy en plena experimentación pero a todavía estoy en eso, no use este programa por que el PS ya me lo esta pateando y no me deja trabajar tan fluido como antes, el SAI es mas liviano y se puede manejar bien es bastante mas fácil de usar.

Sí, el SAI es bastante "dócil" y completo ... aparte de ser gratuito que es un plus importante ... A mí me distrajo mucho el tema de tener tantas ventanas abiertas y no le dí muchas oportunidades. Con Painter12 me pasó que en un principio me resultó muy complicado, pero hace poco terminé un curso de Ilustración Digital que incluía practicas en Painter ... y ahora casi que no lo cambio por nada ... jejejeje
Bien ahí por la experimentación y las prácticas!!! hay que mantenerse en movimiento jejejeje

Lo tuve al corel painter pero no lo entendí mucho y no lo utilice, y tuve que empezar a usar este programa por que el photoshop ya esta siendo pesado para mi pc y se me cuelga cada dos por tres así que no me quedo otra.

Sí, en ese caso el SAI es casi lo mejor .. también tenés otros que pesan una nada, como el AzDrawing (hice éstas ilustraciones para probarlo: [link] - [link] - [link] ) ... pero el problema es que es bastante primario ya que no te permite capas multicolores: indefectiblemente cada color tiene que ir en una capa por separado ....
Si tenés ganas de probarlo, podés bajar la versión 2 desde aquí: [link] ... donde también podés sacar info de cómo usarlo . . .

GEnial! ... además es irrisorio lo que pesa éste programa y no necesitás instalarlo... lo podés tener en un pendrive o un CD y usarlo desde cualquier PC ...
Por supuesto que el SAI es bastante más sofisticado, incluso aquí en DA tenés varios grupos de apoyo con tutoriales e incentivos para usarlo ...
De mi parte y con respecto a graficadores ... no le hago asco a nada ... jejeje a todos se les puede sacar algo interesante ...

Seguro todo sirve si se puede crear algo hasta programas para vectorizar utilizo lease Illustrator jajaja

Sí, totalmente ... en ese caso podés usar el Gimp que es el análogo gratuito de Illustrator. Era un graficador exclusivo para Unix pero sacaron la versión para Win . . .

Muchas gracias amigo, yo también uso PS pero tengo problemas con mi pc y no lo esta soportando cuando pinto algo, así que empece a utilizar este programa que es un poco mas liviano y es mas versátil, pero el Ps es el Ps jajaja, muchas gracias por el comentario!!!

Si es cierto PS es algo pesado mi PC a veces se pone lenta e inclusive hay veces que tengo dar "re-start" para poder usar otro programa despues de usar PS.
