Guess what movie I just bought!! The Croods is such a great movie!! Great characters, BEAUTIFUL scenery and cool animals. Guy is my favorite. He's so quirky and completely confused by the family he has ran into.So this is a Little Guy just coming home with a new friend.
Used a brand new method of coloring with this. It's a pencil sketch colored with Photoshop.

I haven't seen this one, though it's just a matter of time before it's available at Netflix. Guy looks like a cute, scruffy kid who needs a bath, and the little animal in his arms is adorable. Is that a baby sloth or some sort of small monkey? He's just so cute. I like the technique. I thought it was ink was over colored pencil, but I guess not. I just haven't had enough practice with making digital art.

Yeah, he's pretty cute. He's either a late teen or an adult in the movie, though. And that little thing he's carrying is Belt. Keeps his pants up. And I'm pretty sure it's supposed to be a sloth.
I actually scanned the rough sketch in and put a layer over top that just colors the pencil lines themselves. And then underneith I color in the large areas of color. I like it because it still has the liveliness of a sketch but I can still color it in and shade it more.
Yeah, it ought to be on Netflix soon. OH. That other show, Primeval, IS on Netflix.

When I get a little room on my cue, I'll add it on. Three people in this house are using our Netflix account, so it never ends.
I thought the little "cave boy" appears as a boy in the film, but I guess I was wrong.
