It looks like a lot of fun! I really admire how you do the shadows and reflective light, and the colors you pick... How do you come up with colors?

Thanks I wish I could tell you how I choose my colors, because I usually have no idea. Normally I somewhat base it in reality and in this painting it shows as the blue haze of the atmosphere on the background and on the reds and greens of the ground. I also had the idea of doing a hot spot of light in the middle, so that's where it came from The coloring started with just a color layer on top of a black and white sketch and after that I just paint normally.

Sorry, have a tendency to start rambling when talking about this stuff xD
