Name: Mettaton "MTT" Blook

Appearance: A tall humanoid robot. He wears a short purple cape along with light gray, shiny shoulder pads [with one purple stripe on each]. A purple bow tie connects both. A small dial-type piece of metal adorns his left side. Underneath that is 2 triangle-shaped speakers. On his waist is a white belt of expensive leather. A glowing purple heart lays in the belt-buckle. There are 2 small ammo/pocket-like tHiNgS on each side.

Personality: Still somewhat egotistic. He tries hard to be a people-pleaser. He never seems to live up to the Underground's expectations, no matter how hard he tries. He actually wants to be a comedian, and is good at that. But, he hasn't told anyone about this secret passion and tries to fit into the "glamorous" spotlight that he was pushed haphazardly into. Nervous wreck backstage, but he's able to keep it masked.

Story: Created by Alphys and [REDACTED], he was supposed to be a human eradication unit. But that idea was scraped when humans stopped trying to evade the Underground. So, by peer pressure, he became the Undergrounds "natural-born" star. Loving the spotlight, he was able to please the Underground for 2 years. This is where it started falling apart. He was running out of ideas. Gradually, he lost viewers until he was at about half as what he's usually used to. He tries to get in contact with Napstablook, knowing that his cousin has more than enough ideas to supply the Underground. This doesn't work, so Mettaton ends up getting no sleep/battery staying up, trying to think of anything to save his career. Alphys usually finds him powered down by his desk, a pencil in his hair and crumples of paper scattered on the floor and table.
