Janet (left) is actually part-wasp; she can sting people, has retractable wings... and also happens to eat caterpillars, build nests when she's stressed out, and her period consists of her laying a mass of insectoid eggs instead of a normal human girl's monthly issue.
Gwen (right) is made of organic mercury, so she can shapeshift into anything she can think of. When she's in a humanoid form, though, for some reason her hair always returns to its natural state, the only color in her body.

Yeah, no, Whedon and his minions did pretty much no research for Buffy the Vampire Slayer despite one of the main characters being a cheerleader and Buffy herself trying out for the squad. The outfits look like something out ofโฆ hell, probably when Whedon went to high school. I'm updating them to something a bit more time-appropriate for the stuff I have doing for me.
