Personality:
Stephan is a friendly and trusting individual with somewhat skewed priorities. What he considers to be good or bad is thoroughly influenced by whether it affects the people and Pokémon he cares for. This can make his morality more than a little difficult to pin down. He doesn’t much mind what people do, so long as it isn’t hurting anyone he cares about.

Stephan has a great many interests, and will passionately ramble on about them. It’s often the only way to get him to talk without anxiety or hesitation. One such interest is a fascination with the history of the region and the mythology surrounding legendary Pokémon. Learning more about the world is his prime motivation, and he travels a great deal to do just that.

Stephan doesn’t mention much about his history beyond enthusing about how great his adoptive dad is. Whatever his background, he has more than enough money to travel around the region freely without much concern for his finances. He’s made a name for himself in the academic world with the well thought out papers on Elysian history and folklore that he periodically submits.

Extra:
* Tends to stay awake researching all night if left to his own devices. Mostly this results in him passing out in odd places during the day after pulling a couple all-nighters.
* Gets along well with ghost type Pokémon, and thinks their spooky reputation is undeserved.
* Pretty much always traveling.
* Pokémon breeding is secondary to his passion for research.
