It always astounds me to see how your characters' personalities are portrayed so strongly through their body language, expressions and dialogue. You write really authentic dialogue..I can't stress how impressed I am with that (a tad envious too...but I only hope I will be able to learn and improve! xD). You do so much work with a few placed lines.

Thank you. To be honest, I often worry about my writing and dialogue so it's reassuring to hear that people find it natural. I usually just try to imagine how each character would respond to a situation a few times over in my head. Sundance tends to say obvious stuff and doesn't use big words because he's a kid, Theodore is really blunt and rude but in a funny sort of way, etc. I do a little visual imagining of the character speaking the lines, their tone, and their body language and then attempt to put that down.

Thankfully Poke' is mostly composed of metallic coins. I'd think a keen-nosed Sneasel could sniff out the coppery scent from a good distance off.
