Hi Everybody!

I figured I get one last picture out before I start classes again! And would you know it, today marks the 2-year anniversary of the debut of The Loud House Movie! I didn't plan this one, but I had to draw something celebrate the movie, so I decided to draw Angus, the groundskeeper turned Duke of Loch Loud! He's just taking a nice walk across the Loch Loud, taking in the sights, all the while a certain dragon is flying overhead, making sure all is okay.

The Loud House Movie is with a doubt a fantastic movie, for a multitude of reasons. From the story, the animation with its shading background art, the music and songs, I literally have some of the movie's songs on my IPod! But one of the biggest things that made this movie great was the character of Angus. He has to me one of the most upbeat, kind-hearted and humble people I've ever seen in a cartoon, let alone a movie. From welcome the Loud Family with open arms to Scotland and helping everyone with whatever problem comes their way, to teaching Lincoln what it means to be a good and just leader to standing up against Morag when she attempts to become Duchess by force. Heck, when Morag was about to torch everyone, the man put himself in the line of fire first, just so the Louds would be safe! And at the end, when Lincoln decides he isn't fit to rule and entrust Angus with the family crown, he was hesitant because he sees himself as just a groundskeeper, despite all the helpful things he does for everyone on a regular basis! Fortunately, after the whole town and The Loud Family gave him their approval, he was made the Duke, and that's a title he will carry with honor and fairness! Plus, the man was voiced by David Tennant! AKA the Doctor and Scrooge McDuck!

I like to imagine that after the events of the movie, Lincoln and the girls consider Angus to be an honorary member of the family, and that they check with him every now and then to see how life in the Loch is going! Angus, like I said, is a very fun and kind character. If he ever returns, whether its just a reference or a full appearance, I'd being extremely happy! And I had fun drawing, and I've actually had some cool ideas for the Loud Family's roots with Scotland. That and the fact that Dragons are real in this series, let's just say I've got some ideas, so expect Angus to appear again in the future!
