This is a scene from a story called "Dawn of the Fox". I wanted to make the figures seem a little ambiguous, so the viewer can't tell whether they're good or evil. It's also another example of my strange fixation with gas mask-like faces and fondness for desolate landscapes.Related content

you've really got some great depth happening on his head, the mask looks like it's going well into the hood. The light plays well on everything. I presume the dune on the far right in front of the building is a little closer than the casual observer would think, if it is sitting on that dune the shadow of the building would fall across it otherwise, but perhaps it's not showing as much depth as the rest of the pic. Other than that, really great work, the cloth texture is working well too.
