My PC is still not okay. Here's an old work I started last year. I did a bit of tinkering with it a few months ago. Alec Holland, aka the guardian of the Green: the Swamp Thing!This was created in part as texture and water effects practice. I'm excited for the upcoming tv series based on this character. I really want to see the Floronic Man, Anton Arcane, and Grundy interact with him in live-action.

EDIT: WOW! My first ever daily deviation. This makes me so happy. I've had a crappy month, and an even crappier week. Aside from my computer having lots of issues which continue to plague my wok and by extension, finances, one of my dogs died. Faithful painting companion, taker of treats, and loyal friend. Alan Moore didn't created the character, but he did wrote a lot of issues for Swamp Thing. Swamp Thing would be in more of Alan Moore's element because Alan Moore's comics often are left-winged.Β

He Didn't create Swamp Thing he was created by Bernie Wrightson and Len Wein They both passed away in 2017

But Alan Moore did wrote a lot of Swamp Thing. Swamp Thing is pretty much in Alan Moore's element because Moore's comics are often left-winged. Also, when you said that both of Bernie Wrightson and Len Wein passed away in the same year, 2017. So he did both of Spider-Man's creators, Stan Lee and Steve Ditko who passed away in 2018, which it was last year.Β

My FAVORITE DC character! You did wonderfully.

As for the series, well, there’s many changes going on there so it already feels off (I mean, Abby doesn’t even have white hair, and he role is completely different from the comics), but I’m just excited to see Swamp Thing get done!

Hell yeah! I've always loved Swamp Thing. When I was a kid I had a Swamp Thing T-Shirt that glowed in the dark. I loved that shirt so much. Very excellent work.

I remember reading Swamp Thing back in the 80s when I was a kid. Definitely not a kids comic, LOL. A lot of it didn't make sense to me because I was so little. I especially didn't understand why they were harassing his girlfriend. When I got older I realized it was a really complex nuanced story about how people can't accept when a person loves someone they don't like.
