Description Been far too long since I posted anything here, but Update 19's going fairly well. I thought a few of CircusRama's icons didn't quite match the current standards and style of Chimin Roster Builder, so I decided to update these ones. Here's some commentary on each one and how they're different from the ones by CircusRama (henceforth referred to as June):

Golden Freddy: June's icon used the image directly from the cutscene in UCN. It was brightened, but still had the same lighting from the cutscene, which was more red than the original UCN icons. Although I used the same source image, I scaled this lighting down by correcting Golden Freddy to a single hue (yellow, of course) and putting it at partial transparency over the original image. I then applied some basic lighting based on Freddy's icon, with a dark blue on the left side and a lighter peach color on the right (both colors are on their own partially transparent Overlay type layer, which is generally how I do lighting). I also took the nose shines directly from Freddy's UCN jumpscare, which has more or less the same lighting. I had to apply similar lighting to gray objects such as his teeth and attire on their own. I also got rid of a couple weird shadows on his snout and eye socket, which I think help make it feel more like an original UCN icon. If you compare the two icons you might also notice that Golden Freddy's fur looks softer in my version, and in June's, his eyes look rather square. This is due to June applying a sharpening effect, which I didn't do. June does this for pretty much all of their icons, so similar differences may show up in the others.

Shadow Freddy: While June's version uses the UCN render of Golden Freddy, I opted to use the FNaF 2 render. The one I used is higher quality than the UCN render, which helps the icon a little. June's version of this icon is also darker than mine. The main issue with June's version that I think I fixed is the teeth looking rather pixelated, which is likely due to both the UCN render being too low quality and the sharpening effect that June used. Since we used different renders, the pose is slightly different, with Shadow Freddy facing more towards the camera in June's icon. That might be better, but I think my version is a little closer to his pose on the camera in FNaF 2, and either way I don't think the difference is enough to justify using the lower quality UCN render.

Phantom Chica: Whereas June used the FNaF 3 extras render, which was rather dark, I instead edited Chica's original UCN icon to make mine. I had to copy parts on the right side to the left in order to cover the place where the cupcake originally was. After that, it was fairly simple. I used the Phantom texture from FNaF World, where it shows up in the background in Freddy in Space. I made it black and white, upped the contrast, and used Multiply layers to place it on her. I also applied a green tint by making a dark green, partially transparent Multiply layer.

Phantom Foxy: I wasn't too sure about this one, but I said I'd do it, and I think it's still an improvement over June's. We both used the same render and changed the colors to make it more red, but I think I kept more of the original lighting intact, while also applying some basic UCN-like lighting in an overlay layer (orange at the right, magenta at the top left, blue at the bottom left, although it's rather subtle and barely makes a difference).

Phantom Marionette: I don't think June's current Phantom Marionette icon is too bad, but I wanted to try doing my own after I finished the other two, and I think it turned out fairly well. Like with Chica, I used Marionette's original UCN icon to make this (I think June likely also used this render, but I don't know for certain). The layers for this one are a little weird. It was originally made on a black background, with the alpha map for the original Marionette pose being used to make it transparent again, which is how I usually do icons these days. Anyway, above that black background, the bottom layer is the Marionette brightened. Above that, there's a dark green multiply-type layer at just slightly below full opacity. Above that is the Marionette again, heavily saturated and put as an Overlay layer. This helps the original icon's lighting show through in the Phantom version and also increases the darkness of areas such as the mouth, which is helpful as the bottom layer was brightened. Above that is the cheeks, lipstick, and tears, put on their own layer and desaturated. This prevents them from showing as overly saturated due to the Overlay layer below it. Above that, it's fairly normal. Like with Phantom Chica, I used the Phantom texture from FNaF World in Multiply layers. This texture is heavier on the top of the head than elsewhere.

Nightmare Foxy: This was the first one I made, and possibly the hardest. It shares one similarity with June's: we both used a Nightmare Mangle render and edited it into Nightmare Foxy. June used her extras render from FNaF 4, while I used his jumpscare from UCN. I was inspired to make this when I saw a similar icon in a post on Reddit, only it used Nightmare Mangle's original icon rather than the jumpscare. The colors in my version are a little less dull than June's. I used parts of Nightmare Foxy's FNaF 4 jumpscare to cover the cheeks and lipstick. Both versions use the body of Nightmare Foxy's extras render.

Redbear: I decided to do this after completing the Shadow Freddy icon. If you look at June's original Redbear icon, you'll notice that the contrast on the suit is rather high, and the eyes seem to be an odd shape. I think this is due to the original Shadow Freddy edit, which of course was rather dark, being brightened to make Redbear. I kept the project file for my Shadow Freddy edit and just turned the original GF suit red, so nothing needed to be brightened. The colors of the wires in June's version are also different from Shadow Freddy's, which isn't the case with mine, as the suit was on a separate layer. I also used Phantom eyes, which is more consistent with FNaF World. The pose seems kinda weird to me, though.

White Rabbit: I'm pretty happy with how this turned out, and I've even been told it looks like an actual model. The original Toy Bonnie render I used was from UCN, whereas June used the FNaF 2 render. If you compare Toy Bonnie and White Rabbit in FNaF World, you'll probably notice that White Rabbit has more teeth since he's a variation of RXQ, but there are also some more subtle differences: his eyebrows and freckles appear to be completely gone, and his nose is white rather than black. June's icon did not include these 3 differences, but I made sure to include them. June's was also completely black and white, devoid of any lighting, whereas I added lighting using Overlay layers. There's a cyan light from the bottom left and a more orange light from the top right, which I made by using the line tool to make a very thick line of each color, then heavily blurred the lines. There's also some additional lighting on the snout, using Toy Bonnie's UCN icon as a reference.

The background was created specifically for this roster. June made a background based from the same image, so I decided it'd be fitting to do my own take on it. You'll be able to see it in full under the name "Murder V2" once Update 19 comes out.

This definitely isn't all for Update 19, hopefully I'll have more stuff to show soon. All of the Blacklight icons have actually been remade in a similar manner to these, but I don't have them all as PNG files yet. I don't know when June will release Update 24, but their internet is back and all of the model ports are done, so hopefully it'll be soon. Whenever that happens, Update 19 is imminent.

Heres a lil nitpick, phantoms in ucn dont use tge standard lighting, they use a specific one made just for them
