Great design! I really like how he has the look on his face as he's flying up into the air. But, I think there are some things that could have made this just a bit better. Instead of having him hover over the ground like you did, maybe have him fly out of control out of the frame, and then fall on this face? I think him just hovering there takes up a bit too much time, and takes away from the idea of a jetpack. Just something to make this a bit more fun.

I don't think I've seen an emote quite up to this standard in a long time. The animation is great, very smooth, and the splat on the ground is fantastic. Adds humor to the emote

I am thoroughly impressed with how well you pulled this off, and in so small a space! The jet pack's appearance and disappearance, though not entirely rational, is done very smoothly, as is the rest of the emote's animation.
One thing that really caught my eye is the faceplant near the end because it reminds me so much of =brokenboulevard 's "flexible emote" style. And I mean that as a high compliment, not as an accusation

The "flexible" emote style is what I was going for (much like in : possession: ). =brokenboulevard is truly the master of that.

No. Come to think about it. I would probably accidentally turn the jet pack loose on itself and just try and duck for cover whenever it came near me.
