I find this very beautiful

I'd be curious to see how this looks if you saturated the greens a little bit more... maybe it's just my screen, to me it looks slightly pale

anyway, it's a great shot

That's weird, the greens on my monitor seem vibrant to me.
Thank you again.

you're right, depending on the screen they do look more vibrant (am at work now - shhh)

my laptop screen really isn't designed for DA.

you're quite welcome

I opened this shot in full-view and waited for it to speak to me. I waited even a couple of minutes, but it didn't speak sorry.
I can't tell of any flaws, nice river/creek, dead tree, lovely green pines. Technically well processed, not oversaturated, well exposed, correct water blur. But that it is. Nothing more.
I hate speculating on what to change in photos, but perhaps I'd liked a bit more evidence of the dead trunk at right.
Sorry for not writing such nice comments as others did.

that's the goal of this competition, right? Everybody comments everybody, if you like the image or not. I find it is a nice thing and I'll participate again.

I love the flow of the stream, it really drags your eye through the picture. The dead trees lend it a desolate feel. Exposure is perfect. Any longer and you might have lost that little bit of definition.
Nice, nice shot.

This is excellent Justin. I cant think that I have seen a stream like this before, it seems strange to me that it wouldnt just go straight down the hill when there arent really any river banks, but consequently you have a beautiful winding stream which is so rare to see in woodland. The composition is dead on, the processing is great and the shutter speed you have chosen is perfect. All in all I think this is one of your best.

Alex

Jeeze Alex, I wasn't expecting such kind words. Yes, this stream was quite unique.
