Description I am a Human Ghoul

--

I love Tokyo Ghoul even more than before! Such an intriguing manga, and I can't wait for more chapters and more truth / lies revealed. So for now, I did a print for it, which you can purchase right here!

If you like my art, consider buying a little print from my shop! You would help me heaps in keeping my artistic endeavours going! 'u'

Nice!  I always like to see when you paint less anthropomorphous beings (not to say I don't like those too, but look at my gallery - I'm pretty biased toward human-looking figures lol).  The hand and shading looks great!  I really like how you managed to define the white hair, too - that's really difficult.  Did you paint over a bluish gradient to achieve that effect?

Just a word of caution - watch the size of the cranium carefully when you draw in the hair.  It can get way larger than you plan, and even really voluminous hair can't hide that mistake.  The hairline gives it away every time.  I -just- managed to start becoming more aware of it!  Sometimes, after I've drawn hair, I'll check to see if it makes sense by lightly retracing the shape of the skull through the hair, but I've gotten better with practice.

Toodles!

Hey there, Mae! Thanks so much for your lovely comment and feedback! ;u; I do appreciate it every time when you leave a message.

I've been studying up on human anatomy! Most notably I've started studying the human head and shapes more extensively, and some of the hand. I'm nowhere near being savvy on it, but I'm getting there!

Thanks for point out what was wrong with the head! I will keep your tip in mind and try doing it myself 'u' there's always more to learn!

Np ;D You're one of the few I know left on here who still puts forth effort to improve and accepts feedback other than from gratuitous ass-kissing, haha.

Anatomy study is definitely the way to go.  For some reason, drawing the human body is hella hard; I don't know anyone who thinks they've completely mastered every inch of the human form (and if they think they do, they're wrong) >.> I swear I learn something new each time I reference a picture or do some figure drawing of my family members XD Even studying my hands in the mirror while brushing my teeth lol.  We just gotta keep chuggin'~
