Everyone stared at him in bewilderment before AJ spoke up and said"What do you have against humans Akira?" Akira glared at Michael and said"Because humans ruined my life and I don't trust a single one of their species!"

AJ looked at him and said"How did humans ruin your life and how did you end up with all those scars." Akira sighed and said"Well if you want to know take a seat it's going to be a long story." Everyone nodded and gathered in the living room and sat down. Akira opened his mouth and began to speak.

*Flashback*
It happened when I was eleven and it was a warm spring day me and my parents were outside enjoying the sun. We were out by the lake that was near our nest my dad was gathering acorns while I was playing in the lake while my mom watched me.

We all heard a sudden 'boom' sound my mom quickly grabbed me and her and my dad dashed back toward our nest,and we were almost back at our nest when we ran into two humans and a dog. The humans looked down and saw us and they told their dog to go after us.

My mom dropped me and told me to run I began to run and when I looked back I saw neither my mom nor my dad were behind me so I quickly dashed up a tree and headed back toward my parents. I got in a tree just above where they were and I saw them walking away with my parents in a net I followed them back to their camp site.

What I saw those men do to my parents was gut wrenching. I saw them take my parents out of the net they were in and they cut off their heads and throw them to the dog. Then they skinned my parents and gutted  them and threw them into a pot to cook.

I sat there silently crying at what I saw and at the thought that I was now alone in the world. I quickly hurried back to our nest and laid down and silently cried myself to sleep hoping that it was only a bad dream.

I awoke I looked around and knew I wasn't dreaming,but thanks to my parents efforts I had enough food for a week so for the next week I didn't leave the nest. Once I had ran out of food I went to gather more food and nothing changed till the following spring.

I was out gathering food one night when I heard a sound I had never heard before so curiosity got the better of me so I took to the trees and headed toward the sound. What I saw when I got there was bad I saw several wolves going after a lone wolf they chased him out of their pack so like me he was alone.

I followed the wolf for a little while until he found somewhere to sleep then I headed back to my nest to sleep myself. The following morning I went back to where the wolf was I looked at him and saw he was badly injured so I didn't think he was a threat.

So I came down from the tree and moved closer and closer to the wolf until I saw him open his eyes and growl at me. I laughed and said"Like you can do anything to me your so wounded you will probably be dead by the end of the week you wrenched mongrel."

The wolf  shakily stood and snarled at me I looked at him and said"Your so pathetic you can't even stand without shaking your a poor excuse for a wolf."  The wolf began to come at me but I easily out maneuvered him and escaped his grasp until he collapsed and fell on the ground out of breath.

I walked over to him and looked at him laughed at him and said"You would probably wouldn't even be able to hurt me if you were at full strength your just a pathetic lone wolf." I laughed and went to gather some nuts and I thought nothing more of the wolf.

For the next couple of weeks everything was normal and one day while I was down at the lake washing my fur I heard a familiar sound from behind me I turned around and saw him standing there. The wolf growled and said" You said I couldn't catch you even if I was at full strength well now I am at full strength and I'm going to enjoy killing you."

I stood there in fear as my natural instincts  kicked in and I began to run away I knew that if I stopped I would be dead. I ran though the trees and underbrush trying to get away from him until I ran into a wall of stone I knew I was cornered and the wolf came closer and closer towards me.

He lept towards and  me I moved away and he hit the wall with his head. He looked towards me and and swung his paw down at me I moved just enough that his claws cut down my left eye.

My vision began to blur as blood covered my eye so I closed my left I and resumed my fight with the wolf. He kept coming after me over and over again and I kept dodging until my foot caught a root and I fell backwards and the wolf clapped his jaws down on me.

I began to struggle and fight with all my strength until I noticed his left fang was loose and I thought 'He must have loosened it when he hit the wall.'

I decided to use it to my benefit I began to pull on the fang until I pulled it out the wolf opened his mouth in pain and quickly snapped his jaws at me only catching the edge of my left ear.

I quickly ran away from the wolf with his fang in hand I made my way back to my nest and made up an herbal paste that my dad taught me to make and put it on my wounds and wrapped them in some leaves and pulled them tight with some vines.

I didn't see the wolf for a long time but I had fashioned his fang into a knife and I made a belt to carry it just in case.

I had several more encounters with the wolf over the next two years I got injure numerous times but managed to avoid being killed. Until the other night when I finally managed to kill that wolf and that was the same night that DJ found me injured and saved me. So that is my story of how I came to be here.
*End Flashback*

Everyone looked at him for a minute letting the story sink in it was DJ who broke the silence and said"So you hate humans because they murdered your parents and forced you to live alone and be terrorized  by a wolf?" Akira answered "Yes that is why I despise humans because they stole my life from me."

Michael looked at him and said"Well since you have no where else to go you are welcome to stay here and I hope you will become more trusting of humans." Akira thought for a minute and said "Fine I will stay here but if you cross the line I won't hesitate to end you and leave." Michael looked at him and stretched  out his hand and said"You have a deal." Akira shook his hand and said "Ok"

Then DJ looked at him and said"Well if your going to live here you need a nickname because Akira is a bit odd so why don't we call you Scar." Akira looked at him and laughed and said"Sure why not that is what the wolf had been calling me for the last two years." DJ smiled and said"Good welcome to our family Scar." Scar smiled and said"I'm glad to be a part of it."
