Phew! He's done! I redesigned him a bit, I might make a ref sheet just for this form. I didn't really know what I was doing when drawing this so the whole this was a big happy accident. I went through a few background ideas until I randomly settled with this one

I really like the overall design and composition of this piece--how you've created a natural look to the tree, and yet it basically follows the contour of the subject's body. Speaking of the subject, I really love the color choices--the subtle yellow in the eyes and feathers--really great contrast between the muted tones of the subject and background. The eyes really draw my gaze, and I really like the design on the face/head. Great work!
