QUEST 1
With the growing discontent amongst citizens at the lack of luxury imports coming into the country, even you have begun to feel the strain of negativity and discomfort beginning to ripple through the nation. As you talk about the problems on the coast (what with the Rogue Alliance and the Flight working together to isolate Talori further) you get word that there will be an address made later in the day. Write about or depict what imports your character misses OR your character's reaction to hearing that the Empress will be making an address about the situation.
QUEST 2

As the afternoon passes and the evening approaches, you decide that it would be best you find a place to watch the address. Empress Thalassa will be speaking in the main square in Inaria. Write about or depict what your character thinks about the coming address. Are they worried? Are they still ignorant of everything that's going on? Maybe they're angry?

QUEST 3

Empress Thalassa stands before all of you. Candidly, she addresses the crowd, "We have lost our allies." It is a grave statement, and yet, as the woman explains the situation she reminds all of you that "Talori survived hundreds of years without the influence of those outside our borders. If our allies do not send us word, and our enemies grow larger by the day, perhaps it is time we return to that state." She renews an age-old cry for isolationism and states that she will be sending more guardians to the coast.

Write about or depict your character's reaction to Thalassa's new policy: Talori is retreating back into fully fledged isolation. The government is actively promoting local agriculture and luxury wares to the people in an effort to make the loss of foreign goods feel nominal. The coast is preparing a strong defense for a war that hopefully, will never happen.
