may i ask how you learnt /where
you and others inspire me i started to liked pixel art two years ago and i really have wanted to make a game or just sprites for fun i always have wanted to try different art styles and this looks fun love what you do keep it up

This is so gorgeously detailed, the colors are wonderful. I am happy to see a work that is so heavy with earth tones! A very special little scene with very sweet characters

Thank you! I hope one day I can! I'm only getting started with animating things, and I'm kind of sucky at the moment. But I hope to get better and be able to animate even more as I get on.

I love huw subtle the animation of it is, you have to look closely to find it and it' just that extra little surprise in the piece. I particularly like the little glow next to the mushroom on the right. Just gorgeous work! ; A;

Hmm, maybe you want to put brighter color for the frog & the traveler? It can put more focus on them. You can also put a little bit of cool colors to balance it out. Now 95% is warm colors. A little too much of warm colors, for me that is. But, if that is your intention, then it's a different matter. You can also put darker color for the tree, since it is in the background. It's to avoid some clashing with the foreground colors.
But I love the atmosphere, and the character design. All in all, it's still a nice piece of work.

The contrast is a bit problematic. It lacks a clear focus, everything is blending together. You can bring contrast to the picture by using both warm and cold colors (warm colors contrast cold colors, if everything is warm like in your picture a neutral grey is a cold color, and vice versa), by varying line thickness (more important things get a thicker outline) and of course by varying darkness (less important objects become darker, so the more important objects stand out)
