Centuries past in the distant land of Cynlasgate, there were beings who possessed great strength, courage and honor. These virtues granted few extraordinary powers, the powers of the mighty dragons. From the ashes rose a kingdom, the kingdom of Miriagate and with in this kingdom dwelt the greatest warriors known to mortals, the Dragon Knights. With their power and dragon steeds at their command, the king and his Knights defended all that was good. But an ancient evil has reawakened, the demon emperor Trinowarg has risen from the underworld to lay waste to the kingdom. Despite their efforts, the king and his knights were defeated and the kingdom all but destroyed. However, Trinowarg's rising has caused dementional rifts through space and time, and the five knights dragon gems have found their way to the warriors descendants, Lance, Gwen, Arthur, Jasmine, and Percy, five would become the Power Rangers: Dragon Knights.
