I've been sucked into the world of Kuni no Alice. :I I even went out and bought volumes of the manga (which is pretty unusual for me because I usually don't actually buy manga; I camp out in the bookstore and read it or read it online if it's not available in the U.S.) The few times I actually buy manga are usually to use it as reference and to observe its artistic qualities LOLOL I am such a geek ;-; this manga is full of psychosBoris. Boris is definitely my favorite. I have a thing for nekomimi ikemen or something Iunno. I'm also very fond of the twins <3
So uhh I did a quick drawing of Boris. I screwed up his face I'm sorry bby. oTL
by all rights I should dislike Boris. I've never liked the name "Boris", his hair is bright magenta, and he has piercings everywhere. By some other rights I have yet to figure out, all of these things are overridden and I love his character :I what's wrong with me.
I'll probably draw more fanart of this series later when I have time 8'D

I remember reading that manga on Mangahere.com!!!! Although that was a while back. I'm going to have to reread it because i forget how it ended.

Looks great! Haven't read this series, but anytime I see pinkish hair and neko ears or something like that, I always think of Lucy from Elfen Lied. It's forever implanted in my brain XD

xD Hmm it's quite a shoujo-targeted kind of manga (it was based off of an otome game, after all). Despite that, it can be pretty bloody LOL.
I haven't read Elfen Lied, actually, but I've heard and seen enough of it on the internet to know the reference xD

0_0 If you have the time, I'd REALLY recommend the manga and anime, they were both great! It's pretty bloody as well, and there's some nudity (I'm not some perv or something, I swears XD) but if you get past that, it really had a fantastic story

Pfft well. You know, I quite enjoyed Air Gear even though it's rampant with partial and full nudity and sex jokes and has blood spurting out of almost every orifice. While stuff like that might decrease my appreciation for something, if there's a good enough story/characters/art, then I'm fine with it

It sorta sucks when fanservice takes over a show. My example, Rosario + Vampire. The (still ongoing) manga is absolutely fantastic, and all that is really kept to a minimum. The anime, well, it would be good if half the show wasn't revolved around panties XD

Indeed D: when people sacrifice substance for fanservice, they're really making a lot of people lose interest. I haven't seen Rosario + Vampire either, but I've heard of it.
Haha, please do :> It's got its own really distinct feel to it, and it's definitely a hardcore shounen manga xD The characters are my favorite aspect of it, as well as the extreme perspective shots they manage in the action scenes of the manga.

I absolutely admire how you drew his hair.... BAH I bought every volume of Alice Heart no Kuni at my last convention and I'm still in love with Boris TTATT you do him justice! He's a very pouty little neko aint he?
btw what do you think of Peter and Blood? I'm starting to develop a thing for Peter... he's growing on me, the first time I was completely in love with Boris, but now I'm leaning towards Peter.... and don't you just hate the ending?! -.-

8'D I....more or less completely skipped the lineart stage, and quickly just colored kind of sloppily ahahha. Cutting out lineart is my fastest way of cutting corners l'D

The ending makes my feels go
I...hmm I kind of like Blood; he's pretty charming in his own way but I've never been too fond of Peter l'D It might have something to do with the fact that he already starts out loving Alice though.

and BAH, the ending just made me feel confused u.u I don't want her to end up with Blood! he's all mean and nasty! true... Peter is more like a tiny puppy, but he's so.... utterly lovable anyway!

Clover no kuni no Alice is wonderfullll e u e <3 so many cute stories with Alice going down each character's route. And Boris' section of Clover has 7 volumes 8{D
I was quite fond of Blood up until the moment when he started choking her and threatening to kill her ;-; from that point...I kind of lost interest in him l'D

I...have mixed feelings about Ace ;-; on one hand, he's quite likeable sometimes. And at the same time, his psychotic, maniacal actions sort of freak me out 8'D

Plus, he's pink, has piercings, and a tattoo, AND nice muscles, plus he lives in an amusement park, in a wonderland world he's the PERFECT guy, in reality I wonder if we'd all like him still.....
exactly, Ace can be so gentle and loving but he's also blood and violent! He reminds me of my twin >.> Such a frightening guy at times...
and yes... Gowland.... sweet precious violin wielding Gowland.... I wonder if someone would ship him and Blood xD

You would think that a cat wouldn't have nice muscles. But. He does. Which is weird because I usually dislike characters with obvious muscles. And I may have an embarrassing attraction to the combination of cat ears and exposed midriff. >//u//> like this guy.
Ahaha well I've found that often my tastes in the world of anime/manga fandoms are quite different from what I like IRL 8'D

I scoured the internet for scans of it, but I could only find raws for volumes 1-4 of Boris' story. Elliot's story is scanlated on Mangahere I believe (though I'm not a big Elliot fan to begin with so
