The background ugghhh…Loki is not pleased eepAny suggestions? Background is not my strong point and despite my efforts at looking at tutorials and such…I still struggle with them ;__;

I keep seeing your icon saying,"Shhh.." to me @.@ I used a simple soft round brush for the simple shading if you're wondering. Nice to hear you like this style~
And thank you for thinking Loki looks alright, this was my first time drawing him and his costume is rather a nightmare haha

Don't worry you'll get it eventually, maybe you can try some of this the next time if you're going for a more solid colouring effect?
Have as clean as an outline as you can, fill in all the base colours first. You can try using the gradient tool (Photoshop) on a layer on top of your base colours to determine where the lighting is then just gradually start shading in more colours to give it more depth :3
