Cross over fan art of what would happen had Bayonetta adopted and raised Harry Potter instead of the Dursleys! A fanfiction was recommended to me by my friend and I couldn't help but check it out after thinking about it xD! I also found out the writer is also on DA so thank you for your lovely imaginationHarry is so much more saucy in this and I do like him a bit more this way x]! His outfit is modeled after Bayonetta's old outfit and somewhat part of Balder's younger outfit as well. As he's still young, I wont add too many ornamentals and intricacies. Hope it looks good :>?

Very true. In this situation , the only thing I can really say is because they are the last remaining 2 umbra witches and bayonetta being ultimately saucy and a odd factor of lumen and umbra witches, she could've decided to do whatever she wanted and adopted Harry. But yeah, it's more of a fanfiction thing. There were no lumen sages she could've sent him to, so she could've taken it upon herself, after all, she has some experience with a child already lol younger cereza.

I haven't mentioned it yet, but pretty much nailed it here. This is the main reason Bayonetta takes him in. That and the fact that even if there WERE Lumen sages left, after the witch hunts, she wouldn't trust them anyway. She was ready to gun down Balder when she first met him. Granted he was after Loki at the time but still...
That said, I view the fanfic more as an exploration of Bayonetta's character as she's fairly repressed in this aspect. Whether you like the fanfic or not doesn't really bother me. You're not constantly bombarding me with hate mail. (Like some have been doing) so I can't say I mind your opinion.

I can be a bit anal about the lore when it comes to Bayonetta. It's unnecessary and rather uncalled for, but I can't help it. I just love this franchise too much. Your reasons are logical and I can take that, but when someone comes at me with "Kamiya didn't outright reject it, so it's totally legit", I call bull. Don't worry about hate mail from me. I may be a bit obsessive when it comes to Bayo, but I wouldn't take it this far. And thanks! XD

Not necessarily, according to Hideki Kaymia, the creator of Bayonetta, said that there is the possiblity both clans had both male and female members and thus the clans were to never intersect and it was Balder and Rosa who transgressed and violated this rule when Bayonetta was born.

The only mentions of male Umbra witches I've seen were some stupid fan-created OCs and the Harry Potter fanfic which is equally dumb. In the games there's not a single male Umbra nor a female Lumen. This is canon until they actually show the opposite in Bayo 3. Kamiya just said that if Umbra were female only and Lumen male only, how would they reproduce? Well, they don't reproduce, they recruit new members. If a witch has a child, daughters are kept and trained and boys are sent away. I don't remember Kamiya ever confirming that they accept men as well.

Unfortunately Tirah believes that only women can be umbra and men can be lumen which technically is isn't a true statement. iRawred has made some female lumen witch designs and male umbra designs.
