As I listened to these lines, weeks ago, I kept picturing Lisbon's thoughts as she grew restless in her relationship with Pike (especially when she has to decide if she should go to DC), and tries to get Jane to tell her something, anything, and comes empty handed each time.
After she left the Blue Bird Lodge, when her ire cooled off a little, she turns back, sad and without knowing what she's looking for, what she's looking at. And the thoughts come, guiltily and bitterly into her mind.

but up to that point, she didn't know that (he didn't, either).I know it doesn't really look like Lisbon, but to be fair I wasn't looking at a picture of her either xD it was an experiment.
