You can watch a speed paint process video here!I wanted to draw Alistair so I could pair him with Faline in my 'Warden' illustration, and I decided to create a combination of shiny steel armour and a deep red velvet cape that was really inspired by old Flemish paintings that I've been looking at! I think it has a touch of European Aristocracy with the obvious Fantasy element that would be native to Ferelden.
