This drawing of a rose was made by me 2 Years ago. It took about 10 h to finish it. I did it with pencils from 6B to 4H.Related content

Roses have always been a fav for me, but for some reason i can only sculpt them

I cannot work anymore on this rose because I don`t own it anymore. It was a gift for my former girlfriend.
But I may make a new one some day, if the repose is going on so well

Wonderful shading! Did you use any blenders or were you able to get a smooth enough gradient with only the pencils themselves?

Just pencils, layer by layer. I pressed very light on the paper so the contrast is building up.

That's amazing! I find it hard to get a smooth gradient without blending, but that always makes it lose so much texture. Great work!
