Just a little thing I ended up doing thanks to a late-night chat with ~goldwater over my MSN tagline. I've been on a bit of a Xeno kick lately. Dunno why, but I am.We got to talking about creatures that emerge from Xeno/animal crosses, and we noted a distinct lack of feathery Xenomorph variants. Hence, this little Xeno Eagle was born.
I figured that it would keep all six limbs, substituting the foremost arms for wing arms. And no teeth, because beak. As for the Inner Maw, we theorize that it might be a beak, too. And lol big feet. xD
I figure that feathers wouldn't come to the Aliens that naturally, despite their near-perfect ability to adapt to their host and take traits from it, so I thought that webbing would give a place for the feathers.
Tail came out kinda sucky, but it's not really a serious endeavor, anyway, so... It gets the concept across. xD
Expect a gryphon later on. Started drawing one of those while waiting in the BYOC line for QuakeCon.

Srsly, though, facehuggers are freakin' awesome. They're brutal. They can jump something like 8 feet. I've already been playing AvP2 for the PC for too long. xD

By surprise. Those little suckers can jump! I played as the baby Xenos in a LAN game of AvP 2 for the PC. Part of the requirement for that particular kind of multiplayer. xD

lol Dude, that's totally the point. It's a Xenomorph variant. You know, like how you get PredAliens when an Alien facehugs a Predator? xD This alien facehugged an eagle.

Ah wow! That turned out really awesome; I think you got the blend of xenomorphic and avian features down perfectly. I'm surprised you got it done so quickly! Oh, and you're doing the Xenogryph too? Haha, that's undoubtedly going to be epic. Can wait to see it!

lol I'm working on being speedier. It turns out that I really like doing concept-type sketches. They're just so freeing. c: No heavy details or need for completion to bog me down. Just sketchiness.
