I don't remember who it was but someone saw this as a dream catcher, Β and those leaves as the feathers that would hang from it .....Β
I didn't have anything specific in mind when I made this .... but now I can't help but see a dream catcher.

I love this one! It looks like you have spent more time on it. Did you had more stressful moments recently (I have read your blog entry about patterns)?
Oh gosh. I keep looking at it and love it even more (if that's possible). For me the most eye dropping elements are the lines dancing around the single point, they look like bullet holes. You put one like this in your previous drawing with that women with something like hole in her chest, which I also adore
So, I will ask about what was on your mind when you drew this? Is it connected to the title? Do you consider yourself as a nomad?

Yeah this took a bit longer- on and off 3 days .... I wasn't stressed though.... I think I am coming out of stress being my only fuel
.... Ok the inspiration and name for this are a little goofy.... I drew the large spiral first and it looked like a hermit crab to me ... so I kept thinking of a creature dragging its' accumulated treasures with it.Β
Also while drawing I was watching Star Trek the Motion Picture .... if you have never seen it (spoiler) a space probe that was sent out seeking information comes back to earth Β much altered .... it has gathered information and technology and sentience.... in the movie the probe is called vger....Β

There is an episode of the original show "The Changeling" with a similar/same Β theme ...... in the episode the probe is named Nomad.

Thanks for the link - it was cool to see the old Star Trek (I'm a sci-fi fan but missed so many old movies...). Great to hear that stress had nothing to do with this one! That's really mean something very good. I'm rooted also (in a practical way), but since I'm in similar position to you (no job) I do feel that if I would be given an opportunity I would rather change my life and become a nomad... Sometimes I feel it would be better not to have so much stuff, just take a few necessary things and leave, have an adventure
